You may want to take a look on p. 46. There was an article posted about TV ad revenue loss from cord cutting. There were 2 companies mentioned toward the bottom. I think both are fine companies - with the 2nd being the most productive to date and will probably continue to outperform most for...

Could be closer to 15% - with about 1/2 of that being revenue from the US and the balance in other countries.

I do think it's a long-term investment type of company. The Tik Tok noise going on is a separate, geopolitical issue. At the moment, the largest effects could be on Bytedance and MSFT. The Tik Tok news doesn't have a specific effect on FSLY.

If you've held it for any period of time, I'm sure you're doing fine. It's only been public for around a year and has produced in a major way in that time. Lots of things to like here.

Depends on what interests you and what your strengths are. There are lots of investment types out there - real estate, debt, equities, brick & mortar businesses, on-line businesses, etc. For Americans, I think that real estate and stocks are definitely still ways to gain wealth and become...

2 very solid companies. And both have produced well since having gone public. I prefer MA a bit more than V, but they are both very good ones. If you continue holding them for any period of time, your returns should look even better. And better.

I think WORK could be an interesting one. Public for only around a year. I like the founder running the company. Largely recession and pandemic resistant. In fact, it's in one of the spaces which could ultimately benefit long-term after the Wuhan virus (hopefully) disappears. Market cap...

Anytime. There is never a "best" time to invest in a quality company. Too many folks get caught up with a "good entry point" and miss out on investing in a solid company. However, that doesn't mean you have to invest all your money in it at once. You could always invest 50% now and the other...

A lot of things to like about this company. A new-ishly public company (less than 3 years). Good leadership (founder had originally come up with the technology behind the DVR player). He's also a serial entrepreneur, so starting a company isn't a new thing for him. Solid revenue growth...

AMZN is certainly a fine company to own shares in - congrats on the invt. I'd recommend diversifying into other companies. It reduces your overall risk and also gives you a better opportunity to find a long-term huge winner. Also, if you're interested in getting more involved in the stock...

Sometimes the best stock investments are right in front of everyone's nose - not always, but you've certainly pointed out a fine one. Some of its friends in your acronym (since Wall St. loves their goofy acronyms) are also obviously of a nice quality. One of the very first things individual...

I use the Madoff Market Maker. Works like a charm - but you have to change where you live often.

Okay, I've bought the dips. I'm just not quite sure how this will help my investing. But I'm a believer.

I almost always beat the stock indices annually. I'm a long-term stock investor; I don't trade in-and-out or for a quick gain. But for every flavor of investing there are those who have been very successful with it.

Depends on if you have an interest in investing in individual stocks. If you don't, stock index investing - in the safer ones, like the S&P 500 and NASDAQ - will give you about the same return as the indices. For individual stock investing, of course you'd eventually come up with your own...

You haven't missed the boat. If you see a quality company you like, invest in it. If it goes down by a fair amount soon after buying it - and the fundamentals are still fine, invest in more. Far better than trying to time anything. The next chap who can time the stock markets will be the first.

Stock markets look to the future and there has been some better news coming out over the past couple of weeks (regarding the Wuhan virus). I'm always invested in a variety of individual stocks. But I do always keep plenty of cash on hand - and the market chasm that we saw back in March is one...
