Blackshear made it known he wanted to play for a team ready for a shot at the Final Four. UF meets that requirement. He also looked hard at Louisville.
If he wanted to play for a bottom half ACC team, he woulda just stayed at VT.
What I feared. We don't have even one legit ACC-quality front court player. I'd play all guards and small forwards and sit Miller, Sam, Gak, et. al. Play fast, press, chuck up the threes and hope for the best.
Louisville is not just a ranked team, but a team projected to make this season's Final Four. On paper, a mismatch. Playing at home and this being the opening game of the season should be in our favor.
Louisvlle is projected as a Final Four team. I don't see how we can compete inside, defensively or on the glass at either end. We better make a ton of 3s. Too early to start picking the likely score of a game.
