Interesting breakdown of Gattis's redzone calls.

true well see the mentality. they need to **** the score or the spread and just go 100 pass plays (obv Im being hyperbolic) but you get the point. we need to create some chemistry between the players and the coaching staff on that side. the OL looks cohesive. the D looks great. the RBs look...

Interesting breakdown of Gattis's redzone calls.

this tells me they have no real creativity as play callers. Ive said it before - going conservative even w TVD struggling against southern miss was a mistake. you needed every rep if you insist on running this offense. id say its on the teachers and players. gattis is responsible for getting...

Interesting breakdown of Gattis's redzone calls.

you struggle to put up points on UNC, ill fly the banner plane myself. sorry not sorry. that D is ***. well know what this team and O staff in terms of expectations for this current season in that game.

Interesting breakdown of Gattis's redzone calls.

you should watch the routes we ran in some of those red zone trips too though. its all of them not just tan enos, the WRs, or TVD. its a symptom of all three not performing. again, its not all on the OC and its not all on the WRs and not all on TVD. its a combo of the three. the fact is, the...

Interesting breakdown of Gattis's redzone calls.

hes salty that TVD called him a fake fan. nah, idk people got this thing against TVD now when the entire passing offense looks like *** (everyone involved (Ponce, QBs, WRs, etc.) has failed so far so please guys stop white knighting tan enos right now bc hes failed at his job too). its funny bc...

Interesting breakdown of Gattis's redzone calls.

seriously this. we didnt have Mario as the oL coach w lashlee. gattis run concepts are better no doubt, but the OL coach makes a diff
  7. hoops156

Interesting breakdown of Gattis's redzone calls.

what's even more shocking is that it came from a guy who worked under Mario and followed Mario lol. like you said, this is a prove it year in many ways for the offense regardless of the holes.

Interesting breakdown of Gattis's redzone calls.

I don't disagree. Marios best trait is his recruiting imo (even moreso than his OL coaching). the offensive neg recruiting this cycle is a thing though and has been since day 1 of the new staff. its not a wonder why were struggling with WR recruiting esp locally

Interesting breakdown of Gattis's redzone calls.

when b Mac who followed Mario here for a bit goes out and sabotages you w jean while not even actively recruiting jean to uga, its not good as to what everyone thinks of the staff offensively.

Interesting breakdown of Gattis's redzone calls.

just to get guys comfortable at least. you can't sell what already is a bad reputation being used against you in recruiting if you dont prove it on the field this year. I forgot which WR recruit said it but they were like they want to see what the offense looks like this year. I think it may...

Interesting breakdown of Gattis's redzone calls.

I knew that would be a huge loss which is why that thread about him being gone is a good thing was dumb. when we need it? lol we kinda need it haha

Interesting breakdown of Gattis's redzone calls.

ah so those kids are proving us mopers right then? I mean its what we've been saying for two weeks now. I guess were all idiots.

Interesting breakdown of Gattis's redzone calls.

why do you need to lose the season to confirm now what players are saying? they're not comfortable in this scheme. you can see it. hopefully we adjust the scheme to tailor the roster. UNC is the key in game for me. if it doesn't improve or change by then, its not happening this season.
  14. hoops156

Interesting breakdown of Gattis's redzone calls.

both in the league and in college now - you dont get 4-5 years to do it either (as a coordinator esp). NFL coaches get fired a single season now. OCs get canned after a year now. you dont have a guarantee that your system will work in 2 years or so 1 and half years. you gotta get the results now...

t he best thing UGA did was have coley leave for atm
  16. hoops156

Interesting breakdown of Gattis's redzone calls.

the big issue is who were playing right. the first four last year are infinitely harder than our first 4 this year. our easy non fcs team was App State and that wasn't an easy team to play. Bama yeah lol. MSU yeah lol. Cenn Conn was our Bethune but this year we got like 2 bethunes and a crap sunbelt
  17. hoops156

Interesting breakdown of Gattis's redzone calls.

Garcia is a better fit bc of? im honestly asking. were judging him off Bethune Cookman? come on now. garcia has played snaps against high school teams so far. he may be better, he may be the same, he may be worse. he could even be a bust but we dont have a clue based on what we have seen as fans...

Interesting breakdown of Gattis's redzone calls.

agreed. both have their positives and negatives. lashlees passing concepts were better for this current roster. gattis run concepts are much better than anything we did w lashlee.
  19. hoops156

Interesting breakdown of Gattis's redzone calls.

who said he was over coaching? he wasn't choice 1 as WR coach and was kinda it by default after B Mac left. I wont blame Mario there bc he didnt envision this either when he first set out to hire a staff.

Interesting breakdown of Gattis's redzone calls.

at the end of the day, ive complained for two straight weeks. if changes are made it wont be till after this year. lets see how we look on 10/8. if we still struggle on O esp against that defense, its going to be a long year
