every new stadium is going to have things distract you. stadiums are losing attendance to TV sets and they need to bring home like amenities to the stadium. i personally dont like the bare bones stadiums w nothing in there like ND, UF, FSU.

pretty much esp ones that require large space like football stadiums. check out the immediate surrounding area to lockhart, CWS in orlando. also, the immediate surrounding area around tropical park isnt miracle mile lol. its more west miami than it is gables. also, its miami. theres a hood next...

still can't believe people are still complaining about this after we all see how nice HRS has become after the upgrades. no new stadium will be as nice as HRS for the canes.

Surroundings are still the same just more fast food joints. The key thing that will help is the lots across Ives dairy won’t stop traffic once the pathways are built

agreed. that's how it was when i was there. the frats would try to force students to go to noon games and they still didnt give a ****. most kids show up to tailgate and bounce before kick to keep the party going.

there isn't room on campus to place a big stadium anyways and CG is a pain in the butt to deal with when they used to do the homecoming concert on the green. imagine the crap they'll pull with a stadium. the residents around UM hate UM and everyone associated with it (including students)

traffic is worse now than it was when the OB was around. it would be a nightmare to put a football stadium down there again imo. also, w the renos at HRS, its an awesome facility. no reason to move anymore. also, theyre building overpass walkways to get across the street to the parking lots so...

FIU bought Tamiami park i thought or owns a lot of it

theyre building it at the melreese site and theyre not building it yet. it hasn't gotten approved yet

its 25k capacity and ill wait and see if it gets built at the melreese site. you're clearly not from SFL bc there are a ton of issues w getting the melreese site approved (hence why theyre going to lock hart first). i dont think they'll ever get the melreese site tbh
