    Agree Chise. Most teams that are running tempo all game long do so to mask talent deficiencies (Syracuse, et al).

    I would add that just as important to the tempo offense is winning FIRST down. 2nd and 4 gives you way more options than 2nd and 11.

    We NEED to run up-tempo with the kind of skill players we have. Tempo tends to mask some OL deficiencies as well. WE also need a QB that can hit a slant or screen consistently in stride and use that "outside-in" passing game to open up the run and keep the pressure off our OL.
