Isaiah Horton, 2022 WR from Tennessee offered

I'm pretty sure this thread is filled with comments about how Horton would never commit here too

Isaiah Horton, 2022 WR from Tennessee offered

In six full seasons as a head coach Sark has never lost fewer than 4 games. In the year he got fired from USC for his issues he had already lost 2 out 5. I don’t know what classifies you as the real deal but his coaching record says he’s JAG as a head coach so far

Isaiah Horton, 2022 WR from Tennessee offered

I don't know why anyone would be shocked. Top in-state kids don't **** with the Vols and haven't for awhile. If we can get Khamauri Rogers out of Mississippi we can get Horton. I don't know if intentional but this cycle the staff has found an interesting pocket in recruiting SEC area kids. Not...

Isaiah Horton, 2022 WR from Tennessee offered

The fact that Horton gave an interview to a Miami writer and told him that the winning staff already knows made me think. 247 has something where their writers have quotes from the kids about their commitment ready to go as soon as the kid announces. Like the recruit gives them the story and...

Isaiah Horton, 2022 WR from Tennessee offered

I haven't seen anyone who covers Tennessee write that they're confident that Horton is going to pick them. Alot of Miami is right there/leading or Tennessee has work to do.

Isaiah Horton, 2022 WR from Tennessee offered

Getting OOS recruits are hard has been his standard line if I remember correctly

Isaiah Horton, 2022 WR from Tennessee offered

The interview consisted of him telling Gaby he had made a decision and the winning school knows. Recently some of the 247 commitment articles have quotes from recruits in this context "recruit x gave his reasons for picking school x ahead of making his decision public". Like the 247 guys know...

Isaiah Horton, 2022 WR from Tennessee offered

According to the latest 247 article he feels differently about UF now. Whatever that might mean. I just skipped around the 247 podcast trying to find out what they think they know about Tolan which was nothing but Gaby who interviewed Horton thinks he's picking us. Gaby has proven to not know...

Landing OOS recruits is hard. That is real. Scenarios matter though. We're going against Arizona State for Jackson who named us in his top 2. Why should we think pulling a kid from Nebraska is easier for Arizona State than it is for Miami? Specifically with the trouble they're in.

Isaiah Horton, 2022 WR from Tennessee offered

If you asked them in the last day or so then it won't be him I guess. He said he already told the staff that he's going to play for.

Isaiah Horton, 2022 WR from Tennessee offered

Might be right but why is this story different from the Rogers one? In-state schools aren’t great. His recruiter has 1st round picks on his resume and no OV to the in state school. He fits the profile of any SEC area kid that we do get. Hovering around 4-Star status but overlooked as a 2nd tier...

Isaiah Horton, 2022 WR from Tennessee offered

Yeah idk. Just interesting for the OOS recruit to give a Miami site the scoop that he made his decision and the winning staff already knows. Could mean nothing.

Isaiah Horton, 2022 WR from Tennessee offered

Tennessee is no position to turn down a talent like Horton. They’ve been after him hard

Isaiah Horton, 2022 WR from Tennessee offered

They have quotes over on volnation from his last visit. They pulled it from another site. He enjoys his Vol visits. No one team is ahead. But always leaves Tennessee feeling good. The one thing I picked up on was the Vols don't do all that great at his high school securing talent. Might be...

Isaiah Horton, 2022 WR from Tennessee offered

Just going through a thread on the Tennessee board and we're the only place with an OV so far. His plan is/was to save them for the fall. He has been to Tennessee for a couple of UVs in June. And he went to Bama along with UF too. We know what it means if a local kid never actually OVs to Miami...

Isaiah Horton, 2022 WR from Tennessee offered

Tenn 247 just CB'd a different type of WR to the Vols today. Smaller guy. He's committing this week. Clearly they'd take Horton too. Ivins said an offensive player could jump on board soon. It probably won't be the OL Carswell. He still is gonna visit Oregon at the end of July and then make a...
