    I wonder if he could be a Gene Stallings type. Not overly successful in the past, but enough that he got the nod at BAMA and went on to win a Natty and have a few really successful years there. Hope springs eternal.

    We've had coaches who the players liked and it always disintegrated the team. As long as he gets results, I'm OK with the players grumbling about him.

    Don't you think that could have been because those were pros and he was treating like college kids? I've never heard kids complain about him. He was terrible for the pro game, but is good for the college game.
