1999 Era Recruiting vs Today (Derailed Maason Smith thread)

We really do have a chance with this kid and I want everyone to imagine what that DL would look like in 2 years if we had LT and Maason lining up next to each other.... ZOINKS!!! We get Maason and that puts us on even different plane than we've been on recently. Everything opens up if we land 2...

1999 Era Recruiting vs Today (Derailed Maason Smith thread)

If we keep winning, especially if we win out (Covid schedule permitting) and end the year with 10/11 wins, that very well could be enough to convince the big man to come down to Coral Gables. Nothing's impossible AND, even though we haven't seen it nearly 2 decades, nothing is more enticing...

This staff may make some foolish personnel mistakes, but there is ZERO chance we don't take a 5 star DT, because "we're full." Literally no way. If they did that, which they never would, that would be a huge piece of the argument to fire them. They're not perfect, but no way they do that.

1999 Era Recruiting vs Today (Derailed Maason Smith thread)

I always remember two teams when I think of how having 2 dominate DT's at the same time, can drag everyone around them up another notch or two and bring the entire unit to an elite level: Miami 89' and USC 2004/5. Both teams had a good amount of talent in different places, but went from very...
