Probably 10, outside shot at 11 which would be a new record.

Today‘s D1 Stock Report snippet: NATIONAL SEED/HOST RACES • As things stand today, it feels like there are five ‘locks’ to be top eight seeds at this point: Tennessee, Stanford, Virginia Tech, Oregon State and likely Miami. Louisville is closing in on lock status as well, while A&M is clearly...

I think if the season ended today, this would be the top 8, based off current records, conference rpi rankings, and overall resume, with a little inspiration from D1 Baseball projections: 1. Tennessee 2. Oregon State 3. VT 4. Miami 5. Stanford 6. Maryland 7. Louisville 8. Texas A&M I honestly...

Depends on if VT sweeps Duke or not, if we lose another game, they will need to lose 1 too. If they sweep and we lose 1, we finish #3 for the tourney seeding, despite the 2nd best record. I think we'd both be national seeds in that scenario though.

Yes, you're right, I wasn't factoring UL's tie into the equation with the .5 Win, so that does skew the possible percentages.

No real change in the rankings this week, still #6 in D1Baseball and Baseball America. BA did move Oregon State up to #1, and moved Tennessee down to #2, so that's notable.

So if they beat VT 2-1, and sweep UVA(unlikely), and we finish 3-3 in any fashion, we'd finish with 16 wins against common opponents, they would finish with 17. :6fps6:

3-3 would be ok if Louisville takes the series 2-1 from VT next weekend. Even if they both went onto sweep the final weekend, we‘d finish tied with Louisville by winning percentage, not sure how complicated the tiebreaker gets for that since we didn’t play them. But Louisville finishes with...

UL-Wake game 3 ends in a tie due to travel curfew. Edit: I had the teams wrong for this, it was Notre Dame that had two games with VT cancelled earlier this year, Louisville still plays VT next weekend.

VT’s last two games at ND earlier in the year were also cancelled, that’s benefitting both of them right now.

I think 3 national seeds is definitely possible, and maybe even likely. Don't think 4 is gonna happen, but some of the mid-majors do seem to be stumbling, so you never know.
