Thanks, it's weird for me too. Some channels work and others don't. I even get Palm Beach local ABC and my parents is Ft. Myers, idk if it blocks stuff due to location but it shouldn't, they are supposed to be able to watch all their channels wherever they are. Hopefully it works or I'll have to...

I'm going try my parents login with the app too but a lot of the channels don't seem to work. It's also said something about having to be on the same WiFi as their box, you haven't had any issues with that?

YT Red is their original programming and I believe has no ads

YTTV is awesome....they have all the sports channels, by far the best DVR (for streaming) low price and also includes YT Red. I tried it out and would've kept it but the wife needed a couple channels they didn't have and prefers the traditional DVRs

I know. The rep even put me on hold to find out, only to say they don't know which plans will have it or not

Called about this a few days ago and they said they don't know yet. Basically, wait until it launches and see if we get it

That's like when I set up Comcast, I specifically ordered a Bluetooth box, so I can move it to any tv. When the installer came, he said it only works on THEIR modem/router. LOL I almost sent him away right there but he just activated every outlet I had so I can install the extra box anywhere...

Agree, Pac 12 network isn't in HD and we don't get the Longhorn Network. Not that I care much about those but I got both in HD with Dish. I watch a lot of replays in the off-season and standard definition gives me a headache. The rep made it sound like negotiations were ongoing but they expect...

Tried a few streaming options and completely agree. All of their DVRs are terrible, also you can't watch locals out of the area. Plus, as you said, they know you need high speed internet and high/unlimited gigs to stream. I got a better deal bundling with Comcast, without the aforementioned issues.

Comcast told me they expect it in August but that I needed the sports package, which I have and is of course, an extra cost and an extra fee.
