It's no coincidence that Elway didn't get a ring until he had a Star RB. If I'm not mistaken Davis had over 2,000 yards the year they went to and won Johns first Super Bowl. Meanwhile Marino's best RB was a coke dealer on the side. :snoopfacepalm:

I wasn't going to go into the fact that he had no defense and then when Jimmy built one he came up with the idea to take Marino's ability to audible away and that basically killed his career.

Anyone who says Marino wasn't a generational QB needs to hang it up and go watch golf. I saw every game Marino ever played from day 1 and he's the best pure passer ever. It's not his fault the GM's couldn't get him a RB worth a dam.
