I think we need a NT in the portal. However if we landed Barrow and not Harmon, we still are improved relative to pre-spring, because imo he is an upgrade over JHH who is possibly better against pass, but is worse against run. we just still need a NT that can play at least like 200+ snaps on...

I didn't say he wouldn't be in the rotation though. I literally have a depth chart. A guy being 3rd-5th on a depth chart on DLine can still be in the rotation. It's not Oline.

I wrote Freshman. I hope he's a monster. But I'm not going to count on that before a Freshman DT even gets on campus.

As in we need more NTs? I mean I wouldn't be opposed to it lol. But if we got the MSU guys it'd go 0-2tech: Harmon > Clark > Moten in the pecking order of guys filling that role this year. 3-5tech: Would go Barrow > Clark > Cook/Horton > Freshman/Gore/Campbell .... or obviously Mesidor/Bain...

...and in those multitude of schemes, if there is someone inside the guard or over the center that would be Harmon if we got him. Simple imo

nah, we played Leonard Taylor at NT over 50% of his snaps last year. No way Harmon would come here and not primarily be our NT.

But Harmon is the bigger positional need. I'd much rather get by with what we have on the roster at 3t than NT.
