Richt recruited better than Golden & Shannon. Comparing Richt to Butch isn't fair. There's been maybe 3 or 4 guys the last 20 years that could recruit on the same level as Butch.

Totally agree with how you describe Cristobal - and that's exactly how I felt about Richt. Solid but not great coach. Great recruiter. Hoped he would stock the team with better talent, get us back to a consistent 10 win team, make the Miami job more attractive again - then hand the keys over...
