    DJ Dallas's draft prospects...

So.... There are plenty of players who have more production but aren’t as talented....but Cooper & Yearby absolutely were better than Dallas their first 2 years because they were more productive? And yes - please let the season play out before overreacting to a couple of games 2018 vs UNC &...

    He also wasn't sub 200 running a 4.73 - He was 203 and ran a 4.66 at the combine.

Conner had 1,765 yds - 5.9 ypc - 26 TD's as a Sophomore. Pitt also played him 2 ways at DE while he played RB. He was a Pro-Bowler in his 2nd year. Going into this season you thought Dallas wasn't as good as Greg Cooper or Joe Yearby. In 3 games, 1 of which was Bethune Cookman - you've gone...

    DJ Dallas's draft prospects...

The Kerryon Johnson/Kareem Hunt comparisons are a little lofty for me. I see Dallas as being a solid #3, maybe #2 option in the NFL. A guy that gives you about 200-400 total yards a year. More like a Wendell Smallwood/Rex Burkhead /Damien Williams (when he was on the Dolphins) type career.

    DJ Dallas's draft prospects...

There are a ton of factors that go into making a good RB that are very hard to measure. The factors D$ mentions and his versatility definitely boost his stock. But saying athleticism doesn't factor into NFL success isn't true. There's always good NFL RB's who didn't test well athletically...

    DJ Dallas's draft prospects...

The point is not the actual times posted - but the times relative to each other. If Dallas was fat and slow but timed at a 4.45 while Redwine/Harley ran a 4.38 during the same timing, than the difference is only .07 between them. If he's noticeable faster this year - say .05 faster - then he'd...

    DJ Dallas's draft prospects...

So if he ran a 4.45 (hand timed) as a fat and slow Sophomore - what would you guess his hand timed 40 would be now?

    DJ Dallas's draft prospects...

It won't. People are too invested in the "Deejay was fat and slow last year" story that they've created. Once certain narratives are created on this board, facts become irrelevant.

I can't believe he went as high as the 4th. I guessed he'd go in the 6th but was realistically an UFA type talent - which his NFL career is showing he was.

    DJ Dallas's draft prospects...

    - A 3rd round pick is one of the Top 8 RB's in the country - which sounds like one of the best in the country to me. - Homer only had 966 yds in 2017, so saying Walton would've had 1,300 is a major leap - Walton may have racked up a ton of yards in 2017 because the offensive genius that is Mark...

    DJ Dallas's draft prospects...

Yeah - all of it wasn't true. With the benefit of hindsight we know now that: Walton wasn't the best RB in the ACC in 2017 Walton isn't a 2-3 round talent Walton isn't obviously better than Homer Walton shouldn't have gotten 250 carries in 2017 DeeJay's weight was over-dramatized DeeJay's...

    DJ Dallas's draft prospects...

To be fair.... Going into their Junior years our fans tried their hardest to convince themselves that: 1) Mark Walton was the best RB in the ACC, one of the best in the country, a 2-3 round pick, should get 250 carries because he was obviously better than Travis Homer. 2) Deejay Dallas was...

    DJ Dallas's draft prospects...

Walton going in the 4th is still mind blowing to me. Homer went in the 6th. I think DeeJay is a better pro prospect than Homer, and much better than Walton. If he runs an a faster 40 than most think, something like a low 4.5, then I could see him sneaking into the 3rd, but I think that's...
