2022 Cyrus Moss - DEFENSIVE END - COMMITS!

It just can’t be stated enough how huge this is. Mario just pulled this monster from all way over in Vegas after he spent 3 hrs in Coral Gables. This is legendary ****

Yeah, you are underrating Cali talent tremendously. Also, SC is without a doubt a bigger draw being in LA and having its alumni network than Oklahoma is in Norman. Ultimately though, Cali locked down as it has proven in the past, can sport some ridiculously talented teams.

People forget how big Cali is and how many good players they produce. Lastly, 😂 at SC not having the recruiting reach to stack talent enough to win in the CFP. 😂

Think he always knew, just hadn’t gotten there yet. Remember this guy is only 38

We produce quantity but the quality isn’t really there. Also, let’s not act like our commits/signees don’t get any love. When was the last time we actually played up to our recruiting ranking? If anything, an outsider/non fan could argue that the recruiting services overrate our guys

When we were still good, any kid we offered got a 4 star bump as well. It’s kinda like seeing Warren Buffet pick an obscure stock, others watching will take notice and bolster that company’s exposure.

2022 Cyrus Moss - DEFENSIVE END - COMMITS!

This is nonsense. He will have a superior talent base to choose from at SC. A competent coach at SC can put together a squad that rivals anything the SEC puts together. If that coach knows his Xs and Os as well, look out. Oklahoma and SC aren’t equals in terms of resources either. Richer...

The Oregon coach would ask Moss himself to cover his tracks.

He can just enroll at his school or choice when that school’s semester starts, doesn’t have to wait til Feb

You are recruiting a kid that has since signed with another school. It’s the school’s obligation to perform due diligence.

2022 Cyrus Moss - DEFENSIVE END - COMMITS!

Well the original plan was that he was signing that Friday. If CIS I knew of this, certainly CFB coaches nationwide recruiting the kid knew of this. Then rumors were he did not in fact sign like Coleman allegedly did. Then the Oregon re/offer or reconfirmation of one was made news. At that...

So it then looks like this kid is committing at the All Star game but not signing til Feb.

My understanding is that you can wait until cut off enrollment for that particular school?

It’s a big decision to just move to the other side of the country after the school just started to recruit you. I get that he already had a great relationship with Mario but it’s still a tall order. If Mario pulls this off, it’s the coup of the cycle.

We need immediate help along the DL. We need another DE as well.

2022 Cyrus Moss - DEFENSIVE END - COMMITS!

It’s already been talked about, but it’s not really about 3-4 or 4-3 anymore as much as it’s about two gap or single gap and even that is too simplistic. Nowadays everybody is running multiple fronts. Many times the difference between 3-4 and 4-3 is just one DE either has his hand on the ground...
