I didn’t question his talent. I think he’s a good player. I don’t think he’s as good as Smith and our coaches appear to agree. You are saying he is a must have yet his recruitment isn’t playing out that way. Good player does not equal must have.

I’m taking Daniels from a position standpoint. I see a second RB as necessary in this class with both Harris and Burns possibly not on the team in 21.

But where does he fit? The skill position class is Franklin, Brinson, George, Smith. They might add either Daniels or Alexis to that if they add another. Do you have Yulkeith ahead of any of those guys? If you do, that’s fine, but where is his spot if not? At the end of the day, it seems...

I’m surprised FSU isn’t getting involved here. Doesn’t seem like they are recruiting anybody at all down here this year. In the old days there were so many Miami/FSU recruiting battles. Rarely happens now. That said, seems like Brown might end up at Nebraska.

Wonder if the idea of Brown playing CB gains traction? I too prefer Smith as an offensive player. Hard to see a scenario where Smith, Brown, and Daniels all end up in the class as offensive players but it would be nice to get all 3.
