    Sorry...but Lashlee ain't all that....

Exactly. The run fakes make the defense pay for cheating the run. He needs more routes over the middle than just the slant and seam. There are several things he can do to build on this success, but it will take trusting himself and expanding into some concepts that he is less comfortable with...

    Sorry...but Lashlee ain't all that....

Triple option from 20 personnel or jet sweep is a great idea and we should have been using it since Walton and Homer. Just work on pitch timing off the basic zone read. With King? My oh my. We have to use the short passing game to get the line backers off balance and get unpredictable while...

    Sorry...but Lashlee ain't all that....

There is still room to work there, especially with Mallory and Jordan drawing bracket coverage and King moving defenders with any hint at running the ball. This has been a theme not just this year, but years past. It’s the systems. I really like Lashlee, but he has to grow as much as the...

    Sorry...but Lashlee ain't all that....

My beef is that our downfield passing has been a known weakness for a few years now. But we continue to heave up incompletions. Our best passing plays are happening around mostly from the hashes in. We do ok short and intermediate to the sideline but we go there too much, ignoring great...

Watch the game and quit being a ho. I am happy as anyone we won, but the play calling got us behind the gun early and almost put us down too far to comeback. There were series with good calls that had trash execution. Remember the one where Wiggins dropped the big gain on 1st down, no gain on...

    Sorry...but Lashlee ain't all that....

This is a better drunk take, OP. Lashlee is very inconsistent. He made some good calls and some VERY bad situational calls. His system is flawed in the lack of attacking the middle. If he would go after the linebackers and safeties in the passing game, we would be much more efficient.
