People that are hyper competitive. People that can't stand losing tend to do anything and everything possible to win. Meaning the will put in the work necessary to keep getting better. People that are not hyper competitive tend to be complacent. IMO

I suppose its a perfect conversation to share Jimmy Johnson's famous quote about his UM teams. Something to this effect... " There are only two things that happen on this team. What I tell you to do and what I allow you to do "

We never do more with less. We have been the opposite for long time. We actually do less with more.

Ultimately all that matters is.... Does he put in the work ? Does he compete ? Does he love the game ? Does he care ? If the answer to those is yes then he will improve and he will play hard. IMO If that's what we mean by character then I completely agree.

He would be just another guy there. Sabam would cycle him out if he didn't get with the program. When you have talented competion they tend to fall in line.
