Wasn't there another place right by there, maybe same block or a block north, that had a lunch spot too? You would go inside, and the food was along the left side towards the back, I think they had a decent variety of stuff, but it was really inexpensive.

Yeah, closed down at the beginning of summer, around June. Definitely saw a few bands there under a very early incarnation, before it was the country bar "8 Seconds".

It's fantastic. The original location, on Michigan, is connected to Tin & Taco. The pizza side only has a counter, so you have to sit in the "main" Tin & Taco dining area (or outside). I haven't been to the Fairbanks location yet. The guy who started T&T and SoDough is from Michigan, he's...

Please, for the love of god, make it down to Valentina's. It's a different style of BBQ, has more of a Mexican spin, it puts the Mex into Tex-Mex. And check their Facebook page, sometimes they have daily specials. Barbacoa on the weekends. Gourdoughs Torchy's Tacos Briscuits la Barbecue...

Oh lord, sir...that was WHERE I WAS GOING for the Elite 8 game when Delta Airlines screwed me over. So I had a work emergency come up, and I had to skip the Sweet 16 game. So I had the first flight out of Atlanta on Sunday morning AND ARTHUR BRYANT'S IS OPEN ON SUNDAY. Delta cancels the...

I ain't even gonna lie, if I have a choice, I just default to places where I can order at the counter right now. There's a small chain of places called Velvet Taco. Amazing tacos, about $5 a pop. I don't need to go to a table service place AND run the risk of bad service. Just let me tell...

Prix fixe means a fixed price menu. So if you pay $60 for an appetizer, main course, and dessert, you might have a few choices on each, but no matter what you do, it will still cost you $60. Very common, very popular.
