    Love that area, sometimes I go out on the boat with my brother's family and we take the St. John's from Lake Monroe to Lake Harney. Change of pace from going up and down the Wekiva. Now I realize, I should have been getting out of the boat to dig around with my hands... :LOL:

    OK, so I have to ask you a weird question...do you use gloves when you are digging, and if not, do you end up cutting yourself on some of this stuff? Or are you doing it paleontologist style, with brushes and gentle movement of sand?

    Wow, had no idea there was anything interesting (archaeologically) out around Championsgate. Though, now that I think about it, there's a sign on the Osceola Parkway that mentions the headwaters for the Everglades starting up there around Kissimmmee.
