    You can assume what you'd like, but many actors (including Kate Winslet) have said that the Delco accent is the hardest American accent to mimic. And Delco is as east coast as it gets.

    I've been hooked on Simon's shows from the beginning, Homicide: Life on the Streets. I then bought the book too. Guy is brilliant.

    Everyone is entitled to their opinions. However, BB is a fantasy. Unrealistic, even with the science angle. Fascinating and entertaining, no doubt. The Wire is 100% real. All of those things actually happened. Many of the actual people appeared in the TV show in minor roles.

    Power through it. The first half-dozen episodes set up the framework for the rest of the series, in how the police have to chase the dealers. By the last episode of the season, you will cry.
