    Also a very fair point. I know we are mostly talking about Kiffin and Randy, but there has been a long history of some coaches getting 15 chances and others getting just one. Interesting discussion, but probably hard to prove out definitively.

    In fairness, though, that's probably the first time that Kiffin was ACCURATELY hired/promoted on merit. Nearly every other job-change began and/or ended disastrously. The fact that Kiffin is FINALLY turning the corner doesn't change the fact that he burned through a bunch of other jobs first...

    Yep. I'm done with him now, after he tried to claim that Uncle Luke never cost UM any scholarships. Guy acts like he doesn't know the facts of UM's earlier NCAA probation case.

    That last sentence is one of the most ignorant things I've ever read in my life. Read the NCAA report from our mid-90s probation. Uncle Luke ABSOLUTELY contributed to Miami's loss of scholarships. READ THE REPORT.
