    Markevious Brown (Part 2)

Stop being a semantics jag-off. If a kid is down to 2 or 3 of the best schools, then 1 or 2 are "chasing".

    Markevious Brown (Part 2)

And yet...the best schools have chased kids until Signing Day for decades...

    Markevious Brown (Part 2)

You are absolutely correct. It used to be the case that a kid had to troll us or throw our hat on the ground to earn this kind of hatred. But between Covid, having 21 verbals, and Early Signing Day, some of our fans are destroying this kid for having a perfectly normal, totally quiet, and...

"Played coy". More BS from you. The kid has had Miami in his final rankings all along. Just keep building your false narratives.

    Markevious Brown (Part 2)

I'm not disagreeing with those points. I just have a big problem when a chunk of our fanbase builds a false narrative around a particular recruit. What if he chooses UM? Good lord, I hope he never reads this board.

    Markevious Brown (Part 2)

How mopey can this get? "1. Because we're in a situation where we're getting clowned by a guy we aren't even sure is Miami-starter quality" Where are you getting this insanity? Because he was "benched" in a game, even though the explanation was that he committed a personal foul and his coach...

    Markevious Brown (Part 2)

I want some CBs who can play close like butter plays toast.

    Markevious Brown (Part 2)

Yes, this is an incredibly relevant point. It's like Miami has been creating two classes of CB recruits: --Tall blue-chippers that EVERYBODY wants and certain schools pay for --Shorter 3-stars that somehow aren't good enough for Miami, but go to every other Power 5 and ball out We have to get...

    Markevious Brown (Part 2)

Yep. It's a lot harder for a coach to sell his "vision" when he has a losing record. It certainly makes the "vision" more of a long-term issue than a quick turnaround issue. And for kids who want to play (and win) quickly, how soon the "vision" can become "reality" matters.

    Markevious Brown (Part 2)

I think this year is a strange one. A lot of HS recruits may be giving the college coaches more leeway. "Hey, did you see how many of our players were out because of Covid", etc. I think that it will be easier to see which coaches are "failing" (Norvell, Fuente) at Game 11 then it might be at...
