Our fanbase dumped on Richt because he never won a National Championship. That's a high bar for a school unwilling to hire a top tier athletic department.

This fanbase expects Alabama results with FAU style hirings. Alabama has an athletic director with years of success as Athletic Director prior to being hired. So do the other top tier programs.

They were blessed to coach in an era before internet video and the explosion of cash at state universities. Randy Shannon, Al Golden, and Manny Diaz were all similar coaches. Mark Richt had success elsewhere and had less success at Miami.

Manny is the type of coach Miami has been hiring for two decades. To expect more is setting yourself up for disappointment.
