    Ryan Ragone

He was a walk on at Arkansas State. Didn't get any offers out of HS.

No one hates him. We love him. We just don't think he's a UM caliber LB. I love my grandpa, but I wouldn't want to drag his skeleton out on the field and expect him to make plays for UM. He was a great butcher in his day, but I wouldn't want him trying to hit a Sandy Koufax curveball...
  3. The Franchise

    Ryan Ragone

Is it more palatable to say that he didn't get there? He's a good kid and a great Cane, and I'm all for him getting some garbage time reps. I love his story of perseverance and love that he's on the team. But he is not a guy with the athletic ability necessary to do what we need a Miami LB to...

People complained about Shaqeroni all year, but that dude was infinitely better than anyone who's been out there this year.
  5. The Franchise

We don't really need to get to our 5th our 6th LB when we usually only play 2 at a time. That's my point. If Huff is ready, get him some reps because he's a special talent. But there's no reason to have to put Big Ragu out there in anything other than garbage time because he does not possess...

There's also Steed. We usually only play 2 LBs at a time, so there are plenty of LB options if Huff isn't ready to play. It doesn't need to be Huff or Big Ragu.
  7. The Franchise

    Ryan Ragone

Are Huff and Ragu the only options at backup LB?
  8. The Franchise

    Ryan Ragone

I'm not so sure Huff's spot should be interchangeable with Ragu, and I'm not all that sure running straight down the field with your afro on fire translates to playing LB either. But I'd love to see him start getting some reps. We've had some guys run down on STs like absolute demons like Huff...
  9. The Franchise

    Ryan Ragone

I've seen you mention his ST excellence a few times, but how does that apply to him playing LB?
  10. The Franchise

    Ryan Ragone

Why is it either a totally inexperienced Huff or The Big Ragu? If you don't like Huff, put someone else in there, but you can't play Big Ragu. He has no business out there unless it's garbage time.
