I think they’re all very talented and should be expected to play well. I just don’t trust Diaz’s pass D with 2 new Safeties. And we will miss Willis’s presence. I expect Joe Jack to leave too, and I don’t see a replacement who is as good right now.

There are talented players in our secondary no doubt. Problem is Diaz’s pass defense gets eaten up when he doesn’t have a lot of experience at Safety. I love Hall and Carter, but Jaquan was a coach on the field.

Mark this down and bump it when I’m right: Our defense will take a big dive next year. Diaz puts a ton on his Safeties, and we’re losing 2 veteran starters who played the majority of the game. Willis will also be a huge loss because he ate up blockers and disrupted offenses up the middle.
