Texas was stacking top 10 classes from 04 till 12... and the aggies had at least 3 themselves... so about a decade... with them being down the past 5-8 years and really has started to show like that article articulates that these past few classes of recruits who’ve grown...

and 2012 for TAMU when they rode high off of Johnny football and you couldn’t go anywhere in the state without seeing those #2 T-shirt fans everywhere...

When Texas or the Aggies are on top they easily clean up instate talent....
But....
Either way just like Florida the entire state is so big and so many great kids are in the state that if you at minimum stick to a couple of powerhouse programs you should easily land a kid or two...
