Glad you went with a 19 instead of the 30 series. I felt you were handicapping yourself when a 19 can essentially do the same job with more flexibility. I decided to keep my H&K USP compact after all, lol. If you ever come down to Chobee, let me know. I've got a G3 you'll absolutely love to...

CLP. 5w-20 Mobii 1 synthetic if I don't have that. Outers gun grease for high friction/use areas. Birchwood Casey Gun Scrubber for tough jobs. Boesche T-9 for long term storage. Incidentally, I don't use it anymore but Ballistol is a fine product. You can also use it for leather and wood...

Federal Hydrashoks, Hornaday Crit D, and occasionally, Winchester White Box JHP's. I don't use 9mm +P. If I need more, I'll just gun up. There is nothing I deal with that can't be stopped with a .357 Magnum JHP or 10mm Auto.

Dude, try a Glock 26. :P And yes, a 17 is a full size handgun, "Duty Pistol", as they are often called. They are concealable, but they severely limit your options on how to carry them, e.g., owb holster underneath a jacket, or q shoulder holster. A 26 still takes 19/17 magazines, but has a...

Glock 19 is the quint-essential do it all pistol. Can hold large mag capacity, but you can also press it into concealed carry use. Haven't shot the P320, but I've shot its older relative, the P250. Great sub compact gun that, in my opinion, felt nicer and the trigger was better than a Glock...

9mm, with the proper ammo, will get the job done. It's cheap, plentiful, and you typically have a higher round count. .45 is great if you plan on shooting suppressed because its a subsonic round. .40 is useless. Was specifically made because some FBI agents couldn't shoot 10mm Auto. If you...

Bigger gun, shoulder holster. Superman method to get to it. Small gun, ankle holster. Competition: OWB friction holster. I hate IWB carry. So uncomfortable.

Mag capacity. Glock 19 can also take Glock 17 mags and 33 round mags. Which is why I prefer the Glock 26. I've got something that fits the form factor of a concealed weapon, but can be pressed into household duty with full size magazine capacity. I believe with the 43, you're locked into 6...

No doubt. I call it big medicine. Honestly, .357 Magnum/10 MM is the largest handgun caliber I feel comfortable shooting for self-defense or hunting purposes. I can control a .44 Magnum, or a .454 Casull, or .50 AE, etc. But, it's just a bit much for me. I've never understood why .44...

Too many to list; but I keep this on my nightstand. One of the best pistols of the 1990's; the H&K USP (Compact). I run 9mm a lot more today.
