Sadly so. If Manny wants to make the next progression as a HC he’ll need to get over loyalty for loyalties sake. Although, I don’t see Rumph a some of ‘his boys’. Wasn’t Rumph a Richt hire? Maybe we’ll get a change there.

Maybe Manny will realize there may be other ways to generate pressure and TFLs that don’t seem to always require giving up gashing plays. Bring in new coaches with other ideas, and more experience. Or at least stop the delayed blitzes.

Agree the days of a 9-points-a-game defense are long gone. I also agree with @Coach Macho the DL aggressive play/scheme exposes the LBs to OL rather than allow them to clean up. There are a number of defensive schematic issues and playcalling that need correcting.
