To be fair to Moore, there was a coaching change at Oregon. Their OC left to be HC at ASU and Lanning is a defensive coach so it makes sense for Moore to look around.

If it comes down to LSU/Miami I like our chances due to the sole fact that no amount of NIL money is worth getting grinded on by Brian Kelly.

This may have to do with posters reading multiple boards and applying that “consensus narrative” across all boards because that’s the majority opinion on 247. If not the majority there close to it and certainly the loudest. I haven’t seen that opinion much here.
