Yes this is correct. I’m not saying whether I’m an advocate of it or not cuz I see both sides, I’m just saying for those on here who are unaware and can’t believe that players would pass up getting their degree, this is a big part of players’ justification for leaving early.

It needs to be pointed out that kids can come back and finish their degree once their NFL career ends. They still don’t have to pay for it later, and that’s why they leave after 3 years because they know they can just come back if the NFL doesn’t work out.
