I don’t understand your post. Are you saying he is 0-5 his entire tenure at Ole Miss against SEC teams that finish with record above .500? He beat Texas A&M and Miss State last year that both finished above .500. Also Arkansas and Tennessee in 2021.

I was trying not to turn this into a Mario bashing thread. Yeah, I would kill for his offense. He would have put TVD in the best situation/system for him. That's what Lane does. He coaches to his players strengths.

Well, he has improved the team everywhere he has coached, except for USC. He actually started pretty hot there, but then regressed in year 3, so I will admit that he failed there. Not enough data when he coached at Tennessee, but his only year there was an improvement from the previous season...

I'm a Lane guy, but can't defend him on this game. Getting their asses kicked by a slightly above average Arkansas team. I don't know if he checked out after that Alabama game. I think that game meant a lot to him and they chocked in the final series. Regardless, it's up to Lane to get his team...
