    ND has made the playoffs several times over the last few years and has essentially their own TV network. And it's not like they are hurting for money. What would have changed if they were part of a conference?

    I know it has been a while, but they created the original divisions with the intent that Miami and FSU would win them and play each other in the Championship game... of course we never lived up to our end of the bargain.

    I don't think ND is joining any conference unless we get to the point where a group of 25-30ish teams break away from the NCAA. They value their independence too much.
