Pitt has dominated time of possession, is winning the turnover battle, and has held us to less than 300 yards. You'd think that's a recipe for a win but our defense is so good that Pitt is down 21.
Joe Jackson's a beast. We'll miss him. (And Willis, Redwine, Jaquon, Mike Jackson... and maybe Shaq... Could be a tough year on defense next year actually.
I agree in principle. But then Homer would have been benched already too. And we'd be out of WR at this point if we benched people for drops and lack of separation. Thomas, Richards, and Jordan aren't coming through that door.
Slowly flipping the field. Only a matter of one more drive before Pitt is automatically in scoring range. I know we force a lot of negative plays but it's just unfair to our defense to keep doing this.
Didn't Perry make a joke in an interview earlier in the week that he has the best hands on the team. Maybe that's the answer. Put Williams in at QB and throw to Perry.
You gotta believe we'll make an offensive play or two at some point right? Literally one more TD puts this game pretty much out of reach for Pitt the way our D is dominating.
