Traditionally your "SSDE" would play over the TE when teams broke the huddle. Tempo and no huddle teams have made that hard to do anymore so alot of teams don't travel the front to the strength. They just play left and right and set the front to formation strength, field, or opposite the back...

Manny has played left and right ends pretty much exclusively since he’s been here other than year 1 but it seems most don’t notice that. Lashlee did the same with the X/Z last year too. Air raid concept.

Great. Looking forward to seeing him play as stated, I think very highly of him.

All we heard during spring/Camp was Greg Rousseau. The same has not been said about Roberts. Extremely talented but let's be realistic until he puts it on film.

While I think highly of Roberts, he has put nothing on film yet to say he is the best DE on the team right now. If he is, he will play and we can all rejoice.
