I think his theories thought it possible for time travel in one direction only but not backwards. I think this notion of quantum time travel is highly speculative and is more thought experiment than anything real.

I am ok with the dating methods and can accept it as best we have at the moment as long as the assumptions are transparent and acknowledged. We have to start from somewhere. We just really don’t know how much of the radioactive element may have been there to begin with so can’t say with...

Studies aren’t in themselves assumptions but are certainly based on assumptions. For example studies using radiometric data to determine earth age assumes that radioactive decay remains stable for long periods of time despite extreme changes in environmental conditions. We can only assume it...

Well, time is relative as I understand it. I get that part, but regardless of how it is being measured, there is something that is being measured that usually involves either the distance some thing travels (like light) or changes of state of things...like a gas turning into a liquid, or a...

First, love these kinds of mind blowing discussions. Kind of curious how you can have expansion of space but no time, even at the very inception? I always heard that space and time are aspects of the same thing. That you can't have one with out the other? It seems to be always referred to as...
