Did a quick search and he did work with Gattis in 2018 and Joe Brady at LSU in 2020. Pretty extensive NFL experience as an offensive asst. too. That would be a strong hire for qb coach.

my co-dc comment was in reference to some other posts I made concerning other coaching candidates being looked at for possible co-dc positions. My understanding is that Steele would never have accepted a co-dc spot. I don't expect anyone to be named co-dc with Steele on board.

We will have a co-oc that will probably coach qbs and call plays. Same could be done on defense if Mario thinks it is worth keeping TRob.

I think Mario may be taking a different approach. He is hiring assistants that are technicians and recruiters and an OC/DC that are innovative and creative. His job is to make sure the “brains” behind the offense and defense mesh with the technicians and teachers implementing their schemes.
