Cuban MoFongo is different than Puerto Rican MoFongo....Cuban MoFongo is called FuFu de Plantano..and they use Green plantains that are Boiled...then mashed...Where Puerto Ricans fry it....Dominicans finish theirs with melted cheese and garlic broth....Puerto Rico invented MoFongo

More Puerto Rican though....Dominican's version is sweeter...more dessert-like if you will....

@RVACane ....when I lived in Orlando I used to go to a Dominican place called Mi Bandera on Oakridge Rd....When I say outstanding, I mean off the charts (and you know I love Good food) They ALWAYS had Avocado Salad everyday, amongst the other salads...The place was spectacular...and I truly miss...

I'd mess that up...
