just shows how hard it is to "stack chips" in CBB. it also shows how having 4 starters who can win games can be the difference between a good team and a CWS team, or even a championship one. pitching depth is just a rarity in CBB. Eskew could have been a real backstop to guys who might jump...

as usual. richt show nails it. agree 100% with your analysis of zamora. from the SS position, can you imagine if he can build his arm and glove to say, alex cora or wicho hernandez type consistency? or even a guy like ryan jackson? he'd be a top 10 pick. hands down

I think this is a key point, and very overlooked in the (sometimes) overhyped focus on the long ball. Consistency in the lineup with having a deep bench of guys who by definition can make contact, manufacture runs, have high on base numbers, and be "tough outs" is what makes a truly great...

interesting. all of them, with the exception of McKendry, (because he's and upperclassman, which affects his intentions relative to his ranking), and Lugo, well, because he's Lugo ….. are probably within the gray zone. meaning, they could just as easily show up on campus as sign contracts...
