He did do well the first time here as a coach and then got an NFL job. IIRC, Kul was better with the pass rush. Simpson was better with gap integrity in stopping the run. I don’t think either are recruiters.

Yeah, I was at the same school as you in the mid to late 80’s and 14th Street was a war zone. Even in the 90’s. When I moved back to the area in the early 2000’s, 14th Street had already changed and the U Street corridor was picking up All of these areas that were no-go zones were transforming.

Yeah, it’s pretty amazing what’s happened there. You even have a bunch of engineering firms that moved into new buildings in SW.

I haven’t been down to the waterfront in SW DC in many years. I know they’ve got a lot of new stuff in there. Literally so many cool and unique flavor neighborhoods in DC. I always loved it there and got much of my post high school education there.
