I actually have this exact set autographed by all the players. Unfortunately there were two sheets and somehow one of mine got ruined in a move with the plastic covering smushing the ink on one page. Next time I’m down in FL I’ll dig it out of storage.

Good to know. Maybe my friend is having PSA review cards of the same value. I know he dropped off 3 Kobe Topps RCs. They’re skyrocketing in price, going for $5k or so now. I find it shocking because they’re a relatively recent, overproduced base card, but I see the bids on eBay.

My buddy drove down to the PSA office in Jersey a couple weeks ago and dropped off 10 or so cards and the fee was the same on each I’m told. I haven’t sent stuff to PSA yet, I’m debating what is worthy of that cost. But they do provide you with a dashboard that shows the 8 steps or so where...

You’re sitting on a collection well into the 6 figures if these are in mint condition.

This card sells (not just lists, sells) as a PSA 10 for $350-400 on eBay because it’s a rare Jordan error card. Notice it says Jordan won the dunk competition in 1985 and 1990. He won it in 87 and 88. Upper Deck realized the error and pulled these quick back in 1992. I got a couple of these.

You’ve pulled good cards from hot packs? I always assumed it was a scam and the seller tells everyone they just happened to get average cards. I don’t trust it.

Here’s something I bought for cheap recently because you can see two Randy Johnson rookies at the top. Decided to open it against my better judgment and pulled a Fleer Griffey Jr rookie but it’s probably an 8 because it printed off-center. It sucks that you can be so careful with how you open...

The price of the card is very dependent on its graded condition. Most view PSA as the eminent authority on grading, not Beckett or something else. And the price tends to drop like a half-life for each downward grade. PSA doesn’t do half-point scores so, as an example, if the card sells for...

Nice cards. I just got back into a bit of collecting and bought a few rookie autos, including Tua. This one is super rare I bought 4 years ago of José Fernandez because of how he signed “2013 NL ROY” and its rarity. Plus with it being a portrait and what happened it just looks eerie to me now.
