Anywhere where the talent is. Clemson seems to be doing pretty well with kids from NC, SC, and GA. But I'm sure it's the two backups from south Florida who are making the difference.

Those teams are almost all maxed out for 2020. Good dodge, though. They collectively landed 198 players from somewhere else, and 3 players from south Florida, but south Florida is where all the talent is. This is too easy.

The state of Florida is actually an indictment of south Florida football. Florida is a handful of plays from having four losses. All of the rest of us are just terrible.

If the top teams and recruiters were coming down here and cleaning up, we would see more than a couple of players on their rosters. The truth is that G5 teams come down here to clean up, because they get raw talent that can get into their schools.

And those guys were all outliers in programs that recruited from areas OTHER than south Florida. You guys think this all happens in a vacuum. Put Jeudy at Alabama and of course he is going to rise. Put Jeudy with 60 other south Florida idiots and that doesn't happen.

And also a top ten coach over the last decade. Not sure who the sure-fire hires would have been.

I absolutely believe that we aren't winning due to the fact that we over-rely on south Florida kids. Plenty of people agree with me. Other schools have two or three south Florida players, not 60.

Shrug. Mark Richt wasn't a lazy or cheap hire. And even his best was 10 wins that required a couple of miracles.

You can argue that our coaches should be winning the freaking Coastal, but aren't sniffing the top teams with our current roster, no matter who the coach is.

Great, but mediocre talent that is barely good enough to be the "best in the Coastal" still isn't going to stand out against other P5 teams. We don't have a single gamechanger on the field right now.

If we don't have the "right" players, then tell people to stop claiming that we have so much talent.

Because there is not a single college football player who plays in the NFL. That stat includes guys who played in college ten years ago.
