    You may want to go read my OTHER post where i said i really liked Daz for a lot of reasons and think he's faster than that 4.8 that was posted from 19 months ago. And no, speed cannot be taught. You can weight train and improve at times....some guys do, some guys don't.....and those who do...

    It's because speed is the one thing that can't be taught. Most of the other aspects (running a route, using your hands, reading coverage, etc) should be able to be learned if the kid is coachable and works at it. Speed though....you have it or you don't. It doesn't make you elite or mean you...
