I wouldn't have revoked anyone's scholarship $. There are 27 scholarship players on the roster (15 position players and 12 pitchers let's say). You're always going to miss on kids, it happens. You can't miss on 4 in one class. We have signed two Perfect Game/Under Armour All American hitters...

The coaching staff knows exactly who they expect to be there the next season, and it is their job in recruiting to fill these holes on the roster with Miami caliber players. It is also their job to manage how much scholarship $ they hand out per position to keep the team as balanced as possible...

Why haven't you answered my previous question about why we suck? Is it the players or the coaches fault

There's really no argument for DiMare after the last 2 seasons. None.

According to you we are signing the best players from the best high schools in South Florida. Then why do we suck? It's either the players or the coaches, and the coaches are responsible for recruiting the players.

I love how he is giving credit to Gino for recruiting those 2012/2013 studs. Collins, Abreu, and David Thompson would have all come here no matter who the hitting coach/recruiting coordinator was. The problem is, we havent signed any hitters like these 3 since. The floor of this program should...

Anyone on here want to have an intellectual conversation about the coaching hire? Because this "little" guy doesn't

50% last year and 88% this year. Most* power 5 coaches have experience as a HC when they are hired. Sure, some are hired as extremely good pitching or hitting coaches like O Sullivan, but it's not the majority (I also would not put Gino in the good hitting coach category) Those schools went...

Let's use the 8 CWS teams as examples: Oregon State Head Coach - Previous HC experience North Carolina Head Coach - Previous HC experience Texas Tech Head Coach - Previous HC experience Arkansas Head Coach - Previous HC experience Mississippi State Head Coach - Previous HC experience Florida...

Most head coaches start as a HC at a smaller school and work their way up. Most* HCs don't get Miami as their first gig. I'm not whining, just pointing out his resume is bleak compared to others we may have interviewed.

He literally has zero head coaching experience and was Morris' puppet. What resume?

I think they have been reading @rokulika posts and my posts on here :D On a serious note, this is 10 years overdue. The current batting cages are an absolute joke.
