Who's we? You have a mouse in your pocket? Coming into this season, I wasn't expecting a 15-0 year. I thought Miami would lose against A&M and Clemson. Two road games against teams with more talent than Miami. Did I think Miami could have won Saturday? Sure. They had the ball last with a chance...
Why does this upset you lol. What's the big deal that I believe the problem Saturday night wasn't Gattis but the play of our WRs which severely stifled our offense?
You can't complain about running the ball. Miami ran the ball Saturday night better than we have ran the ball in years. The problem with Gattis was the QB draws in the red zone. Now concerning pass plays.....how many plays did Gattis dial up that had open receivers that if they caught the ball...
I thought the two QB sneaks inside the 10 were atrocious. Gattis didn't trust any WR last night and I don't blame him. But again, Miami had the ball last to win the game.
I keep hearing about Gattis’ route concepts. About 5 Miami WRs dropped passes that would have went for at least 40 yards. Parrish, both Smiths, and Redding dropped passes with significant YAC if caught.
I doubt you know what you’re talking about. Passes hit WRs, they couldn’t complete the catch. The OP says so. B. Smith, Parrish, Key. Smith, and Redding all dropped passes that if caught would have gone for 40 yards.
Dude, Miami had the ball last and a chance to win the game on the road vs a team with more talent. For what we had to work with, Gattis did an amazing job. ST does their job, Miami walks out with a victory.
"The game was lost when we ran three times in the red zone and kicked a field goal down 17-3. You can’t say you have the best QB in the country and then show a complete lack of faith in him".
"Maybe someone who charted the game can correct me, but I can’t remember a single contested catch in 41...
