Its not an excuse it is a fact. He said that Va tech had more talent then Pitt. I proved that was incorrect. Ofcourse he isn't as good as Beamer. Beamer is 10x the coach Richt ever was. Every other loss he had was to teams with similar talent. Richt loses EVERY SINGLE YEAR to subpar talented...

I am just defending my original opinion. Which I still stand by. I am actually very happy that Richt allowed Kosi to play today, but I still would have preferred Fuente.

He blew one game so far at a mid level school. Richt blows games every year against less talent at a top level school.

I'm not making excuses. If I was a va tech fan I would be furious. I would have been ****ed at Kirby for blowing the NC last year aswell, but that doesn't mean they are not better coaches then Richt.

That doesn't account for attrition. Bottom line. Va tech had 11 4 stars. Pitt had 11 4 stars. Va tech had 0 5 stars. Pitt had 1 5 star.

Pitt was more talented then Va Tech last year. They had 1 more 5 star and the same amount of 4 stars. GT was not a massive ****up it was just a bad loss.

Troy Carr lost to App State with a much more stacked team then Va Tech. I still think Fuente is the better coach. I would not give him a pass, but it is his first massive ****up like this instead of 14 by Richt.
