Lol. No, I am not saying that. I am saying it was the best UGA line in that time period.

Believe me I hate Kirby more than anyone here. I also think he is a terrible game day coach, but I am just using him as proof of Richts OL recruiting ability.

0 chance. If Richt recruits like that we never win the ACC . There is so much wrong with that statement. 1 Kirbys line pulled through when it mattered where as Richts line had their good games against the cupcakes. 2 Auburn is a very solid team and beat Bama last year They also only lost by 8 to...

You have not proved me wrong. My original statement was that Richt's OL was always UGAs weakness. That is a fact. Kirby has recruited more blue chip OL in 3 years then richt has in 15 years. Kirby has created the best line in UGA history and that is before he has loaded the OL with his recruits...

That is the same line that got ran over by USCe. However, I did watch that game and that line was not as dominant as you are making it out to be, even when they played Bama. Especially in the 4th quarter they where getting dominated.

And most of those highlights are against the bottom feeders of the SEC. Everytime they played real SEC teams the OL collapsed and they had to rely on the their running backs to make plays without a gap.

His best O line was the 02 team. That is a fact. Look up who recruited the starters on that line.

Again, Golden has some OL in the league as we speak as well. Brian Kelly pumped out a ton of NFL O linemen as well(including arguably the best one in the NFL) and look how awful his lines were every year. The line was the worst part of the team year in and year out. That is exactly my point...

Did I say Donnan was a better coach than Richt? No. I stated a fact. The best line Richt ever put on the field was loaded with Donnan's players. There is no disputing that.

    1. Richt has never produced a line that was as good as this years UGA line. 2. The vast majority of Richts lines where not good and relied on his skill positions to overcome to the OL play. 3. Richts best line was loaded with players that where left to him by Donnan.

I was not talking about defense. I was purely discussing the OL under Richt vs Kirby. Just look at the UGA line year one under Kirby the line was pretty bad. Last year it was the best since I started watching college football in the mid 90s.

Did you see what Kirby was able to do with that rag tag line he was left with? Not only did he and his coaches take a very mediocre line and coach them into one of the best in the CFB in 3 years he also created the best line UGA may have ever had.

False. Golden also sent a bunch of OL guys to the NFL. That is not a good indicator of OL success. Have you watched UGA play under Richt? The OL was always very porous. He signed only 1-2 5 star OL in his career at UGA. Kirby has signed 3 already. Also, just look at the difference between Richts...

OL is the thing I am most worried about. That was Richts Achilles heel at UGA. Kirby has recruited more blue chip OL players in his 3 years than Richt landed in his entire career.
