    A word on infrastructure

Ok sure. Nobody came close to discussing the history of AD hires over the last 10-15 years but this one poster. This history clearly informs the current situation and anybody that wants to take an insightful and perceptive look in analyzing the dynamics currently at the university. To resolve...

    A word on infrastructure

A good post regarding the history of hiring this position. Some people just don’t get , or aren’t good at analyzing, what’s going on.

Just the second post, I believe I’ve answered the process question

So if you’re going to change the process, you have to address it correctly, and talking about the BOT as a monolith, doesn’t address the problem. You have to get to the small number (around 5 or so) of BOT members who have pull and can influence decisions,. Some of whom, quite frankly, are very...

I was only responding to that particular post

    A word on infrastructure

AD I agree with. BOTs are never in play. That’s not how it works. An entire university is their responsibility. Only a few care or are involved in, or have input, regarding football decision making. Why worry about some people whose major concern is the medical school, or other areas they have...

This is correct. We can’t make that leap until we win consistently in the coastal, beat the teams that were supposed to beat, and contend for the ACC championship, instead of constantly being shut out of it every year because of ridiculous losses.

Apparently, you’re unwilling to have an adult discussion, but I get your unwillingness to have this mature discussion. I mean you can’t even defend your original premise coherently. Rather than defending your premise in a logical and fact based manner, you are resorting to trite and immature...

    A word on infrastructure

Apparently you don’t have much real world experience and/or success. You are also conflating my asymmetrical remark with field tactics, that is not what I’m saying. I’m saying we succeed by doing it a different way - not the same way. Of course we need better coaching and preparation, but that...

    A word on infrastructure

Apparently you don’t get the concept of asymmetrical warfare. We can’t be Bama. Will never have those types of resources. We have to be somebody else to beat them. Just the same way that Schnelly didn’t try to be Nebraska or Oklahoma in his time. He changed the paradigm. That is what we have to...

    A word on infrastructure

These idiots don’t get that their wish list requires money from boosters and fans for their magical improvements. The university doesn’t have this money laying around. Like I said in my previous post, switch fan bases and boosters to the Alabama ones, and happy days are here again. Their...

    A word on infrastructure

It’s very possible. We just needs to switch out fanbases and boosters with Alabama. Then we’ll have all the money we need from their contributions, just like Alabama does now. Also, our recruiting will magically improve with better boosters that are willing to pay for recruits.
