He was untouted in the minds of our fanbase. It was all Lingard Lingard Lingard. I didn’t say he was not a highly regarded recruit. He was highly regarded among the objective services. But he was almost a forgotten person, Lingard was getting all the buzz

Sorry, I don’t believe he was “clearly” ahead of him as a freshman. The sample size was too small, and there was a natural inclination to try to get your highly touted 5-star ”ambassador” a few more touches, and to use his natural straight line speed on special teams. It doesn’t mean he was...

Oh yeah that’s right, his first year would’ve been Homer or Dallas - no chance he would’ve broken in there. Those are both NFL running backs. I believe you were 100% correct it was contact balance, he went down fairly easily into the line, but I also heard vision was an issue. I may be wrong...

I seriously doubt this. Especially since all the contemporaneous reports were about him running up the backs of his offensive lineman. Lets see what @DMoney has to say. I’ll admit it if I’m wrong. But my recollection was that he wasn’t beating anybody out before or after he got injured.

I try my best not to trash current or past cane players and will support under basically most circumstances, but I can tell real life, not told before incidents about Sapp, 100% confirmed, that absolutely indicate his behavior. Not going to get into it here, but let’s just say he is an...

That’s your opinion. A wide receiver, in my opinion, has a more complex role, not just physically, with hand eye coordination, but in using their bodies, their bodies’ momentum, in locating the ball, in how to properly turn your head, in tracking the ball in the air, in using your hands, arms...

Guess you didn’t keep up with the fact that he said he was dreaming of playing for the gators while he was at Miami

Or learn to be a better running back. RB is less complex than WR, and his problem is his decision making as an RB. Plus we have no idea what kind of hands he has. There’s hands you have to catch a quick outlet as a running back, and there’s hands you need as a wide receiver. We are all too...

If he can’t read open holes or running lanes, which doesn’t take a tremendous amount of brain processing power nor athletic ability, how is he going to be able to determine proper angles of attack, or quickly diagnose and act upon his play responsibility as a defensive back. One microsecond of...
