Trevonte Citizen injury considered serious [Sep 23 - *may* return this year]

I am obviously assuming those things are true. We were told those things were true 2 months ago. Well, except the earned time part. But give him a series and see how he does when the lights are on.

If Citizen doesn’t play Thursday he should 100% transfer.

Did Parrish get hurt again? He was in on the last FG drive.

It’s a good problem to have. The best of the bunch will play. So whoever leaves will be buried on the depth chart. It’s what happens when you acquire talent at a high level. If our 6th and 7th backs decide to leave, we’ll be ok.

Sorry yes, brainfart. Meant the 2003 season in my 2nd point. Edited.

    1. I've said it on this board 500x, but I will always maintain that the 2001 Frank Gore was the quickest back into and through a hole that I've ever seen in my life, in person. Ever. He wasn't a 4.2 kid, so once he opened it up in the open field he wasn't the fastest guy who ever lived, but...

Chaney won’t miss half the season. We play 4 games then a bye before ACC play vs UNC in game 5, week 6. That’s October 8th. He should be fine by then, at worst. Maybe even before. That’s 1/3 of the season, and it’s also none of the ACC schedule.

It’s the norm in college football. Especially here.

Correct. Achilles too. They obviously always do the scans but you know 4 seconds after the injury whether or not you have a torn ACL or Achilles.

Cool part about it is he gets to put up or shut up in about 2 weeks.

First of all, best of luck to TreVonte' on a successful surgery and rehab. I feel terrible for him, these are never fun no matter when they happen, but for it to be in camp before your freshman year in a time where you're really eager to show the world what you can do, it's really ******. But...

Do you have a list of things folks are and aren’t allowed to talk about, broken down by time of the day? I don’t wanna be weird. Thanks in advance.

Still doesn’t make sense to me, but fair enough. I appreciate the explanation. As far as the actual situation, I agree. He has to have gotten an MRI by now.

How is that hyperbole? The Head Coach of the football team, TODAY, said the injury was "more significant" than Horton's 3-4 day injury, then said "It's significant" AGAIN after that. The dude is hurt. I made a thread, and others did as well, saying "Damnit. A guy who we had crazy high hopes...

So we shouldn't be allowed to discuss it? Communism rocks.

I think we should just keep deleting them. Seems logical after the hype this kid has gotten on this board for the past 8 months. I'm sure nobody will notice if he's not playing.

The mods keep deleting these threads, which makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. But hey, I guess we treat injury news around here like the coaches do. The FBI will have to raid the Hecht to get the results of this dude's MRI, but until then, we'll just pretend like it never happened.
